Workshops for community organisations and prison supporting young people with criminal convictions

Business in the Community and Nacro delivered a series of workshops for key workers and advisors supporting young people with criminal convictions.

These workshops were developed as part of a project for Transition to Adulthood Alliance, which is convened and funded by Barrow Cadbury Trust.

The workshops covered:

Nacro aimed to increase delegates' confidence in supporting their clients with criminal records. Delegates learnt about:

  • gathering information from clients in order to support them effectively

  • how to present disclosure information to employers in a positive and reassuring way.
