Peer Learning Forum: Gender Pay Gap Reporting

Time: to

London SE1

Following the second year of mandatory gender pay gap reporting in the UK, it is clear more needs to be done to ensure the gap is properly addressed.

According to the most recent Government Equalities Office report, only 48% of companies are estimated to have included an action plan to narrow their gender pay gap1

This shows that organisations must make more of a commitment to tackle gender inequality. Our own research found that 89% of respondents would feel more negatively towards their employer if the gender pay gap was relatively large in their organisation2

About the event

This peer learning forum will discuss gender pay gap legislation, communicating the gender pay gap effectively and actions to tackle it. There will be presentations from the Government Equalities Office, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

Best practice examples and recommendations will be shared by Kaammini Chanrai, Business in the Community’s Gender Research and Policy Manager. Delegates will then have group discussions under Chatham House rules.

Who should attend?

This event is exclusive to Business in the Community’s workplace partners and spaces are limited to one person an organisation. However, if you have a colleague who would like to join you, please let us know and we will add them to the waiting list.
