Leadership breakfast: Capitalising on military talent

Time: to

Cardiff CF10

This leadership breakfast, in partnership with the British Royal Legion, will focus on how companies can capitalise on the talent of military veterans who are looking to move into civilian employment.

At a time of rising employment, employers are seeking skilled staff with the right attitude and attributes to support their growing businesses – and every year in Wales, veterans are leaving the Armed Forces with exactly this mix.
Aims and objectives of the event
The breakfast will explore:
  • the benefits of employing this greatly untapped pool of uniquely qualified, high-performing people
  • how to recognise the valuable skills and experiences that veterans can bring to your business
  • inspiring best-practice examples of how to create a more veteran-friendly environment.

This event is open to members and non-members of Business in the Community and aimed at senior business leaders. It will be of particular interest to those with responsibilities and interests in HR, recruitment, operations and management.
